There is no question about it, we are in unprecedented times for our generation. Before recent events, I challenged you to “find your people,” those that would be an encouragement when life gets hard. Today, we are instructed to practice “social distancing” and “self-isolation..”

When you find yourself struggling with anxiety or worry, commit to learning one thing about God you may not have known, or need reminded of. When we submerge ourselves in the Word, we will find sooo many promises of how He will sustain us through times such as these. We are encouraged not to be afraid or discouraged. And, we are reminded that we are not alone….even while we self-isolate.

It’s Christmas. A time of celebration and joy, right? For some the Holidays are especially hard. Recent seperation from loved ones by death or divorce, poverty, illness, or simply lonliness turns a time of celebration into a time of struggle. Find Hope in the true meaning of Christmas.
Trauma has been stitched into the fabric of my life since I was a little girl, though I was initially unable to identify it for what it was.
If you’ve ever experienced this type of loss, I want you to know that you’re not alone, that it’s ok to take as long as you need while you heal. I also encourage you to reach out when you’re having one of those days that’s too much for you to bare on your own.
Growing up in a Christian home and experiencing things that most people don't in their lifetime, I thought I could handle whatever life threw at me. I had no idea how wrong I was.
